Dear All,

This minute herb was photographed from Shillong, Meghalaya in 2017.
The pics may be insufficient, but all I have are these pics only..
Any clues on identification will be appreciated....

Looks like some Circaea sp. (Onagraceae). But we do not have this species in eFI.

Looked into Circaea species available in Flora of Pakistan and Checklist of Nepal, but flower structure looks different as per FOC illustration.

To me looks different from Onagraceae family.

Yes, I too have the doubt now. Circaea species have long flower pedicel with spreading hairs. I am not aware of this plant.

Appears to be from Lythraceae
But I could not find any match as per comparative images herein.

As per keys in Flora of China, may be some Rotala

But I am not finding any match as per comparative images at Rotala
