Yes Saroj ji, the first pic is of 11 NOV, and the rest are of 12 NOV.
I mistook them to be same plants.
Thanks very much for the ID of the first pic.
Regards.

1, Sterlitzia reginae

2 may be not???  heliconia psittocorum, diagnostic red bract is absent
seems to be bud...
it seems to be heliconia angusta , yellow christmas var,
or heliconia psittacorum, yellow parrot flower

3 bract is large like Sterliztia reginae
so it has its seeds

4th one.... i dont know.... i dont exactly recall properties of seeds in the heliconia

Ushadi

Thanks very much Usha di.
1st one - taking it as Sterlitzia reginae

2nd, 3rd and 4th are all of same plants, planted along compound wall.
I take it as Heliconia sp. since the photos do not give any relevant clues to decide the species.

Regards.

bracts seem different in size as i find them growing all over the world

but will need to find papers that show dissection of the flowers
that would have dimensions

it takes time
which is in short supply right now
a funeral today is coming in a few hours

i sat at the computer trying to wake up
open the eyes really, since construction workers and their lorries with bricks and black stoone chips unloading
started making ruckus across the street at 3 am!!!!

not very intellectually conduce way to study, though !!

Regards
Ushadi
