Identify this Species ( Location: Sarjapur Road, Bangalore)

Recently I came across this tree while strolling on the streets of Bangalore. The fruit pods appear to be that of a Pterocarpus species. Is this Pterocarpus Indicus /(Endangered) by any chance?
