Hi, Bala ji,

Was it cultivated ?

In that case it should be Trichosanthes cucumerina subsp. anguina (Cultivated) rather than Trichosanthes cucumerina var. cucumerina

No Garg ji. I found it as wild. May be an escape from cultivation.
