Raman Ji,
Not seen this Species before.
So I presumed it was Thorel's Crape Myrtle, with smaller flowers in white & purple.
This was inside the Sitapur Gate, before the Double Road entry.

As inflorescence appears to be hairy (from 1st image), I think it should be Lagerstroemia floribunda Jack only.

Dear Aarti,

Yes, it is L. floribunda. The bark is characteristic.
You will find a good description in Trees of Delhi by Pradip Krishen.
