Was it cultivated/ planted ?
I am confused between Solanum grandiflorum (Introduced) and Solanum wrightii (Introduced)
Both are really close and considered once as synonyms as per 'Note' in POWO.
While S.wrightii (syn: Solanum macranthum Carrière) has been widely introduced as per POWO and CoL, there are only some places mentioned for S.grandiflorum as per POWO and none as per CoL
BSI checklist does not mention S.grandiflorum.

Solanum macranthum Dunal mentioned in some of the posts in efi at Solanum grandiflorum (Introduced) is actually a syn. of Solanum crinitum Lam. as per POWO and CoL.
So I feel our observations at Solanum grandiflorum (Introduced) may be of Solanum wrightii (Introduced) and we have to shift them accordingly.
Pl. give your feedback, if you feel any doubts ar have different views.

Garg ji, we have to decide whether our plant is S. macranthum Dunal, now S. crinitum Lam. (branches lack thin straight prickles, corolla shallowly lobed)
or S. macranthum Carr., now wrightii Benth. (branches with long straight prickles, corolla deeply lobed) please see images on POWO
I think ours should be S. crinitum Lam.

I think we have to find an authentic description of S. macranthum Dunal, now S. crinitum Lam. (I am unable to locate one on the net) and differences between the two, based on these.
