Valparai: Herb for identification 240912MK01

Dear all,

Kindly help me to identify this herb found inside the shade of shola forest near a river. I have not noticed any flowers or fruits. Could this be any Urticaceae?

Leaf: 8cm long and hirsute surface

Plant: 15-20cm high

Place: Valparai, TN

Habitat: riverine shola

Date: 28 July 2012

Alt.: 950 m asl
