 Id  requested for the following attachment.This tree looks silvery, when we stand beneath the tree.

Date/Time-: 12/05/11   -    09:00

Location- Place, Altitude - Kaiga , Uttar Kannada ,Karnataka, 380 mtrs

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type-   wild

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- tree

Height/Length- 8 mtr

 This is a species of Pterospermum possibly P.xylocarpum.

Looks P.xylocarpum to me also, fruit could be useful for conformation.

Neil ji.................................................. This is a species of Pterospermum possibly P.xylocarpum.
Prasad ji..............................................Looks P.xylocarpum to me also, fruit could be useful for confirmation.

It is not possible to confirm without additional pictures of fruits flowers etc.  Any ID is only a guess work.
