Tried in Myrtaceae, but failed.
Yellow flower is confusing. 
May be from Rubiaceae, as suggested by Vinayaraj ji

Psychotria, resemble P dalzellii- from Vinayaraj ji 

But it is a tree...- from Girish ji 
Tried in Myrtaceae, but failed.
Yellow flower is confusing. 
May be from Rubiaceae, as suggested by Vinayaraj ji

Yes, P. anamalayana is a small tree. There may be other species growing to the size of a small tree.

I checked all the species listed in flora of Peninsula India in POWO and GBIF, with distribution given in the district.
The closest I can go is Psychotria nilgiriensis var. astephana as per GBIF specimen. Alos see POWO.

Biotik says it to be 'Large shrubs or small trees ca. 4 m tall'
