Hi,

Could you please help in identifying this plant?

Date: 26/02/21

Location- Ghoghri Village, near Satpura National Park, altitude- 325 m

Found in the wild, in a stream. It is an emergent aquatic plant

No flower observed at this time.

No, I don’t think it would be Pontederia Crassipes as it does not have the bulbous buoyant stem. The specimen was firmly rooted in soil and the leaves seemed to be more cordate than the images on the website of crassipes.
