There is no image or even specimen available in GBIF of Cyathocline manilaliana.
Also it is endemic to Andhra Pradesh 
All of our observations are at Cyathocline purpurea
In view and without details it is better to keep it at Cyathocline purpurea only.

Drawing in the Rheedea journal matches exactly to this sp. rather that C.purpurea and the 
ToI  news says its recording in maharashtra!

I am also thinking same Saroj Ji,  I have collected purpurea from Andhra Pradesh, 
its somewhat different from purpurea,
