May keep it as Desmodium elegans DC. for the time being although I am not fully satisfied.

Other species does not come closer as per comparative images at Desmodium‎

However, EFN says " Legume flat, linear, 3-5 × 0.4-0.5 cm, hairy, lower su­ture crenate, upper suture nearly straight, 4-6-jointed. 2n = 22."

whereas in this case it is around 14-15.

Dear All,

Desmodium incanum is not listed in Nepal and seed pod, leaves and flowering  does not match.
