Pls help in id this Launaea sp from Mata Vaishno Devi Marg Katra

Location- Place, Altitude, GPS-

 

Mata Vaishno Devi Marg

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type

Wild

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb

Small herb up to 10-15 inches

Height/Length-

 

 

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size-

 

Spiny dissected

Inflorescence Type/ Size-

 

Yollow inflorescence

I think it may be Launaea secunda as per images and details herein. I think only this species is reported at such higher elevation as per Checklist of Nepal

Does Launaea secunda have leaves with white cartilaginous teeth, like L. procumbens?

I can see only two links in this thread, one eFI, and the other is FoN.
Yes, it tallies with eFI.

As for the question of "higher elevation", L. procumbens occurs at the elevation between 1500 to 2000 m.(ref FoC). It is not fair to refer to FoN sometimes, at other times FoC. Neither is it fair to ignore FoI sometimes, while the other times refer to the very same FoI !!!
