It is not Mr. Garg. Fruit is too small, size of a marble or so compared to
T. tricuspidata.

It may be cucurbitaceae- the Makoi, as children we used to eat it

My mother tung is Hindustani, all the children of that time used to call it Makoi.

मकोय Makoi is the popular name for Solanum nigrum in as well as Physalis in Bihar . In Bhojpuri belt , Solanum nigrum is called Bhatkoiyan   भटकोइंया  ,  मकोय is used for Physalis .

It could be since it has got distribution in Nepal.
Need to check this season during flowering months!
