Ohh, 8 years!! I did not notice, Saroj ji. Thank you Garg ji for forwarding it and continuous follow up.
I am much confident now, as in 2012 I must have overlooked due to its similarities with C. clavata, but I am happy and more certain Commelinaceae taxa these days.
