Sharing some pictures I guess is Strobilanthes atropurpureus Nees. shot at Chandragiri Hill Kathmandu Nepal on 19 September 2016 at 8200 ft.

Nepali Names:

अङ्गारे Angaare /  जरो बुटी Jaro Buti / किब्बु Kibbu  / कगदिल Kagadil

It is scattered in the Himalayas from central Nepal to SW China.

Yes, I think this is correctly Strobilanthes lachenenensis. The picture is not so helpful as those sent by Saroj Kasaju which show the habit of the plant and the complete inflorescence. These are usually very important in identifying the different species.

Note compound inflorescence, leaves cuneate, not cordate at base   - it is possible there could be hybrids between lachensisis and attenuata - they certainly hybridize easily when cultivated together.
