Dear all,

Adding some images shot at Kathmandu, Nepal on 22 January 2017 which I guess
is same plant . However, Ligustrum perrottetii is not listed in Nepal so my guess  is
Ligustrum lucidum W.T.Aiton (accepted name)  as per the links I have sent in the
earlier mail.

Waiting for the validation.

Thank you.

On further scrutiny and going through descriptions in Flora of China as also discussed in MS March, 2020/15 Ligustrum compactum ? for ID/confirmation, it should be Ligustrum compactum due to large lanceolate leaves, acuminate apex and more no. of lateral veins and being wild.
Branchlets, rachis, and pedicels glabrous are stated to be glabrous in Ligustrum lucidum as per keys in Flora of China.

Specimens, though low resolution to see the finer details, appear to match with this posting.
Your book link (by whom and when published not clear?) in subsequent reply, mentions L.indica (now a syn. of L.sinense and not native as per POWO) and not L.nepalense
So I finally take it as L.nepalense

the latest book published in 2022 BY. Dr. KK Shrestha et all.

Ligustrum sinense Lour.  ex situ and Ligustrum confusum Decne. in situ
are listed in the book . It is not L. confusum. Does it need any revision if
it could be Ligustrum confusum Decne. ??

Thank you.
