There seems to be some confusion regarding its taxonomy.
Flora of Bhutan gives Mucuna interrupta Gagnep. as a syn. of Mucuna imbricata DC. ex Baker. (with distribution in India as per POWO).
eFlora of Pakistan and Nepal gives Mucuna imbricata DC. ex Baker as a syn. of Mucuna nigricans (Lour.) Steud.
While POWO gives Mucuna nigricans (Lour.) Steud. as a syn. of Mucuna interrupta Gagnep., but with no distribution in India. 
So I take it as Mucuna imbricata DC. ex Baker only.
