Convolvulaceae for ID

[Shrikant Ingalhalikar]

A prostrate twining herb, stem slender, purplish, 30-50 cm. Leaves 3-5 cm, ovate, acuminate, cordate; petioles 3 cm. Flowers solitary, on axillary peduncle 2-3 cm, corolla 3-4 cm, campanulate, pink. Fruits could not be seen. Photographed at Nivti near sandy beach along a fresh water stream in Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra in Nov. 07. Could not be located again in 2 visits.
