Cuscuta is a genus under convolvulaceae , with many sections . Being leafless , classification depends on stem thickness + color , floral characters and seeds .
Long bell shaped flowers with thicker stem ...3 options ...C .reflexa , C .japonica and C .krishnae .
C .reflexa flowers come directly on stem nodes . C .japonica flowers come on a short raceme of about 3 cm or less . C .krishnae has red purple color , diffuse or in dots on stem and flowers...borne on a short compact inflorescence .
In your trademark crisp images , I can see purple blotches and dots , plus are flowers on a peduncle ? If yes , how long ?
