Now considered a syn. of Gymnema latifolium as per Taxonomy of the Asian Gymnema latifolium (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae, Marsde- nieae), including lectotypification of the synonymous G. khandalense June 2013 Willdenowia 43(1):81-86 and POWO
