Location: Ooty Railway Station The Nilgiris Tamil Nadu INDIA
Altitude: 7300fsl
Flower date: 01APR2025, 02.05pm
Habitat: wild moisture sloppy windy misty highland meadows
Plant habit: medium erect branched thorny shrub, hard cylindrical tomentose stem 06cm base diameter, rough brownish bark, perennial
Height: 05 feet
Leaves: alternate cylindrical spike hard thorny acute hairy, length upto: 04cm
Flower: axillary bud, yellow, non fragrant size:02x01cm
Fruit: capsule green into brown ovoid tomentose
