Dear sirs,
Submitting images of an epiphytic Oberonia sp for identification.I think this specimen is similar to the one that I had uploaded for ID assistance vide ref 12-8-2015_TSP_Orchid_Gutti.Pankaj ji was kind enough to narrow down the ID to O.balakrishnanii and O.burnoniana.The two were sighted in about the same region

Date/time:22-8-2015/ About 3-00 pm

Location: Devaramane, Mudigere,Chikmagalur,Karnataka about 1400 msl

Habitat:Wild,Epiphytic

Habit: Herb.

With regards

Kumar ji,

In my opinion, this isn't Oberonia brunoniana... but I am confused between O. josephii and O. balakrishnanii... I must acknowledge that you have provided excellent set of images but for species identification the sepals, petals are needed too...which are not clearly visible here.... Let us wait for comments from experts..

Sweedle
