Many thanks Garg ji and Saroj ji.
I strongly believe this plant to be Ficus amplocarpa Govind. & Masil.
Garg ji, I get a feeling that the illustrations of leaves in the publication at ResearchGate link have got interchanged.

Regards.
Dinesh

Dear Sir

Hard to get details as both are closely related but as per flora of India:
F. amplocarpa= leaves broadly ovate to ovate to elliptic, with glabrous to minutely puberulous (which is not clear from photographs), figs globose to sub-globose or obovoid and this is the catch in photos figs are clearly ellipsoid and second leaves are much broad or rounded or cordiform and basal lateral veins elongate to 3/4 the length of the lamina (F. amplocarpa to 1/2 the length) clearly show this should be F. guttata.

Even I doubt photos on POWO for F. amplocarpa are actually of F. guttata.

Kind regards, Varun

Many many thanks Garg ji and Varun ji for this clarification.
I will revise ID of my observation to Ficus guttata (Wight) Wight ex King

It looks like there is a mix up on the internet with these two species.
F. guttata is not much found in pictures on the internet; it is not yet in the iNaturalist database; and POWO has no pictures
Except for the publication in ResearchGate which Garg ji pointed out to.

My posted plant matched the observations in iNaturalist of  F. amplocarpa. especially:

Regards.
Dinesh
