Syzygium jambos  (L.) Alston Dear friends, This tree is growing on bank of lake; I would like to get Syzygium jambos validated. Hope the photos help.

leaves are exactly like the leaves i had from my seedings of the fruit i buy

never got flowers in the potted seedlings

but the flower you have matches what i photographed in southern california

it was a botanist curated garden

so yes

this looks like Syzygium Jambos
