By birth a farmer , by training a surgeon , by attitude and aptitude a person belonging to science . 

Bihari by birth , Gujarati by Karma . 

Spotted Gloriosa superba on roadside in Aug ' 14 ......a turning point........ beginning of my tryst with plants . 

Surat cityscape doesn't offer much in diversity , but I keep watching , observing . Joined Indian Flora facebook 

group in Dec'13 , was made Admin by Rajesh Sachdev ji in 2014 . 

Whatever little I have learned since , is all by interaction in Indian flora and consultation with Flowers Of India and Efloraofindia .

Since '15 I am member of our group .........almost everyday I browse mails and EFI website . 

As for contribution , I have a very limited repertoire . If I feel I have something worth sharing , I'll certainly do . 

Convolvulaceae is my first love !

I was not aware that Rakesh ji is with eFI since 2015, may be I do not recollect his earlier postings.

He is quite active in facebook Indian Flora group.

I remember him since the time he identified Ipomoea piurensis from closely confused species Ipomoea marginata.
