Banasura Sagar Dam  Wayanad Date: November 15, 2019 ... Altitude: about 980 m (3,200 ft) asl

¿ Cassia ?   Dear friends, This small tree is most probably planted; not sure whether exotic or native. I assume it is Cassia, but not able to get to species. The cylindrical pods are slightly over a foot long.

Yes, Rakesh ji, all possibility of Cassia spectabilis (syn. of Senna spectabilis).

Pointed tip of leaflets suggested ...checked for pods and they too match with Senna spectabilis .
