Are both subsp. found in Nepal ?
We have to find keys between the two, before any decision.
eflora of Nepal link is not opening right now. Pl. see if there are keys in Flora of China or elsewhere.
I am unable to find differences between the two on the net.

POWO mentions Drymaria cordata (L.) Willd. ex Roem. & Schult. to be introduced in our area, while Drymaria diandra Blume is native.

There seems to be a lot of confusion w.r.t. Drymaria cordata (L.) Willd. ex Roem. & Schult. & Drymaria diandra Blume
I could not find keys or difference between the two on the net, despite vigorous search.
Flora of Peninsular India (as per book link) and An Excursion Flora of Central Tamilnadu, India - Page 24, only mention Drymaria diandra Blume.
Flora Malesiana also mentions only Drymaria diandra Blume.
Flora of China gives Drymaria cordata (Linnaeus) Willdenow ex Schultes with D. diandra Blume as a syn.
Checklist of Nepal mentions both.

The Plant List Ver.1.1 is based on WCSP (in review)- so less reliable, which is being followed by POWO also.

Catalogue of Life gives distribution of Drymaria cordata subsp. diandra (Bl.) J. A. Duke in Seychelles, peninsular Malaysia, India, Bonin Isl. (Keetaajima, Nakohdojima, Chichijima, Hahajima), Volcano Isl. (Kita-Iwojima, Iwojima), Java, Mauritius, Madagascar, China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Zhejiang), Taiwan, Tibet, Ryukyu Isl., Bhutan, Sikkim, Sri Lanka, Thailand, S-Japan (Honshu), Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Sudan, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo (Brazzaville), D.R.Congo (Zaire), Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa (Limpopo, Mpulamanga, KwaZulu-Natal, W-Cape Prov., E-Cape Prov.), Bioko Isl. (Fernando Poo), Sao Tome, Principe Isl., Togo, Cameroon, Australia (Queensland, New South Wales), India (Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Orissa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu), Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan (Pakistani Punjab), Jammu & Kashmir (Kashmir), Philippines (throughout), Laos, Vietnam, Singapore (I)
Catalogue of Life does not gives distribution of Drymaria cordata subsp. cordata in our area.

Flora of Bhutan also states the same as below:
"The above description refers to subsp. diandra (Blume) Duke, to which the Sikkim and Bhutan plants belong. Several medicinal properties are ascribed to this species (13)."
