Lalithamba ji's image of Talinum cuneifolium Willd. (syn. of Talinum portulacifolium (Forssk.) Asch. ex Schweinf.) on Flickr and Useful tropical plants should be of Talinum fruticosum as per keys and details herein.

There is lot of confusion in net between the two. Finally I could get keys between the two at Prota4U as below:

Talinum triangulare is sometimes confused with Talinum portulacifolium, but the latter differs by its paniculate inflorescence with terete axis, sepals not prominently veined and smooth seeds as per Prota4U (Talinum triangulare (Jacq.) Willd. syn. of Talinum fruticosum (L.) Juss.)

Talinum portulacifolium is sometimes confused with Talinum triangulare, which is also used as a vegetable. The latter species differs in its pink flowers arranged in cymes on triangular stalks, sepals prominently 3-veined and tuberculate seeds as per Prota4U (Talinum portulacifolium)

Thank you Garg Ji, I have posted Talinium fruticosum in another flickr ; that plant is different from this. both are captured in different locations. if you observe the axis is 3-angled, not terete(cylindrical); at each node the flowers are in simple cymes, hence after a lot of search I have posted. I am sorry I could not correct it since the password for the account was hacked, unable to open after several trials, hence new flicker account has been opened. Thank you once again
