I don;t think it is S. adnata, a species which is never more than 2 m tall, a suffrutescent herb. S. adnata looks similar to S. wightiana except for very small stipules

Yes, it appears more closer to images at Sambucus nigra L. subsp. canadensis (L.) Bolli
