Rubiaceae herb for identification 070512MK01

Dear all,
Please help me to identify this plant found on the grasslands of Nilgiris. I taken this picture en route Gudulur from Ooty on 20 August 2011.

Altitude: c.2000 m ASL

The herb is not more than 10 cm longer.
