Cucurbitaceae week: Trichosanthes tricuspidata from Hooghly

Sir,

This is a wild climber that i noticed in February, this year. The plant bore only some fruits and a few remaining leaves when i found it for the first time. I am sorry that i don't have any flower picture of the same.

Species : Trichosanthes tricuspidata
Habit & Habitat : wild climber
Date : 07-02-2012, 8.45 a.m.
Place : Kamarkundu (Hooghly), WB

Good morning Sir, thank you for this info on the inside color of the fruits. All of those fruits were hanging too high to reach!
