I hope you very soon resuming your long walks through the forests...
Having gone through surgical and post-surgical procedures for both of my parents, I can well understand that you need atleast a fortnight of rest, another fortnight of cautious walking before you are absolutely normal with your routine..
Stay strong, it will be a wonderful experience after initial hiccups..
