Hello everyone,
I am currently researching the distribution of Mollugo disticha (Ser.), commonly known as Three-leaf Carpetweed, within India.
While literature indicates its presence in Peninsular India and parts of the Eastern Ghats, I am looking for more specific, recent sightings or herbarium records to map its range accurately.
Current data points I have found:
- Andhra Pradesh: , , , and districts (often found near the Gandi River).
- Tamil Nadu: (Shevaroy Hills), Dharmapuri (Mettur Forest), and Puducherry coast.
- Kerala: , , , and districts.
- Odisha: .
What I need help with:
- Have any members spotted this species in other states (e.g., Karnataka, Maharashtra, or further north)?
- Are there any specific habitat notes beyond "dry sandy soils" or "river banks" that you have observed?
- If you have photographs with GPS coordinates or specific locality data, I would be extremely grateful if you could share them.
Thank you in advance for your time and expertise!
