It seems to be like Nephrolepis on the basis of morphology, but in absence of reproductive structures it is quite impossible to identify it.

Sori were not developed at that time and it was on a tree trunk.

Dr. Chris book listed following 4 sp. but I could not match with any of them.
N.cordifolia
N.delicatula
N.radicans and
