There is always a joy in identifying Saroj ji's images, because they are so detailed that one can even match any sort of hairs mentioned in the books or floras (which are generally based on herbarium specimens).
I have gone to the extent of spending a day on his single identification request, as with his details it is always possible to go beyond the limits.
These will also certainly be a source of joy to the experts, who go through our site, on seeing such detailed images.
Thus, I request members to pl. post as detailed images as possible. Now there is no limit on posting size as we can go post almost upto 8 mb per image.

I agree to this and I also imagine how many times he actually goes out in the field at this age.
As Gurcharan sir pointed out long time back, multiple pics from multiple angles always help in better identification and now a days with digital cameras it takes no money to take multiple pics. I remember when I was doing my phd i took around 10,000 pics from my film roll camera !!
I hope Saroj sir can continue like this forever.
Thanks and regards
Pankaj

Yes, as we used to comment earlier - to some posts that had pictures showing as many as aspects of the plant ... "complete set of pictures" ... we will have to put this comment for every post of Saroj ji !!!
Regards.

Yes Saroj ji's pictures have gotten more detailed, as he reads about his plants.
that he studies , is obvious in his responses .
And he has recently taken to showing us habit and habitat.
I appreciate that much
and comment on it frequently

multiple pictures from multiple angles
and it does not cost more in digital age
is lesson that everybody should follow.

ONE more comment must be added  that he is showing us NEPAL flora that
at least I would never have seen so frequently.

Good show Saroj ji.
Regards
Ushadi

Thanks, Rakesh ji.
Yours are equally good.
But Saroj ji and Dinesh ji, post high resolution very large (in pixel size) images, which helps to see minute details on seeing the enlarged size.
This helps in proper identifications including seeing minute hairs etc. properly.
