Plants from Northeast Tour 2017- Quercus for specific id, Meghalaya

Dear All,

Please provide help in reaching to specific id of this tree, photographed near "Seven Sisters Fall" Cherrapunji, Meghalaya on June 24, 2017.

I hope this is a Quercus sp. 

I think the details available with me are sufficient for a near perfect guess..

As per convincing input received from Dr. Praveen Verma Ji, this should be a species of Lithocarpus....!!

We have only Lithocarpus fenestratus in efi so far, from Mizoram.
