This was seen in Kandy, Sri Lanka during a visit in 2010.
Could you kindly validate this as well?

Most probably it is C.elegans. Suggested ID, not a confirmed one.

Unable to send any message in reply to your posting at :  Cestrum Species for ID : Kodaikanal : 08DEC19 : AK-2.  Hence I am posting here. The pink coloured one from Kodai is C.elegans var.smithii .  There are many arieties of Cestrum of different hues.

To me also appears to be Cestrum elegans as per difference in Factsheet1 and Factsheet2
