Finally the page and issue have been assigned to my article. The article talks about two orchids. First orchid, Nervilia gleadowii, described from India based on a single, 90 year old dry specimen of an immature, incomplete and not so well preserved inflorescence. Studies reveal that the orchid doesn't even belong to the genus it was originally assigned to, and is in fact Cremastra appendiculata var. appendiculata. Second orchid, Apetalanthe gracilis, was described from Vietnam by my dear orchid brother, on the assumption that the flowers lacked petals. However, studies revealed this entity to be the same as the one described around 120 years ago from Sikkim Himalaya. The manuscript went through multiple rounds of a very hardcore review process by eminent orchid experts in the world.
Special thanks to Prof. Gopal S. Rawat (my mentor), Dr. Jeewan Singh Jalal, Dr. Manas Ranjan Debta, Dr. Avishek Bhattacharjee, Dr. Sachin Sharma, Alister Pradhan, Dr. Huai Zhen Tian, Kinley Rabgay and Saroj Kasaju, Prof. Leonid Averyanov, Prof. Maxin Nuraliev, Ba Vuong Truong, Nguyen Thanh Luan and Prof. Xiaohua Jin, Dr. Kanchi N. Gandhi, Dr. Manudev K. Mahadevan and Ravee Bhat for their help and support.
