Andaman, provided leaf, flower and fruits image.

This is the common weedy and often adventive species, Thelypteris (Section Macrothelypteris) torresiana.  It is all over warmer parts of Asia and even up into the Himalaya - its spores spred through people walking along paths and by rocky streams etc.  In open places it is often associated with Pityrogramma calomelanos.

P.S. I assumed it would be recorded from the Andamans, but I just checked Indian Checklist 1 and see either I missed it or it might not have been collected (or mentioned) from there, again.  Check Dixit & Sinha and the various Balakrishnan and Totatri papers, or Chandra (2000) - though that is a highly inaccurate book (and check Holttum's monographs of Pronephrium and Macrothelypteris, plus Flora Maelesiana Thelypteridaceae) for both T. nudata and T. torresiana.  If not mentioned for A. & N., then it probably slipped people's attention - as nearly all modern collectors there do not know the fern species, so only collect at random.

What do you say ?

I checked with species listed over there at Loeseneriella and in POWO and Catalogue of Life. 

I think L. pauciflora (DC.) A.C. Smith (fruits not matching as per specimen in GBIF) and Loeseneriella andamanica (King) Naithani & Sas Biswas are also found over there in Andamans island (excluding Nicobar islands) in addition Loeseneriella macrantha (fruits not matching as per specimen in GBIF)

My knowledge to the Celastraceae of ANI goes as per the attached file. In addition, Reissansia grahamii is also found as per Flora of India.

Please collect specimens for further studies as these images are not matching well  with the species occurring in the Islands.

On checking distribution in POWO, it does not match with the only species distributed in Andamans i.e. Oreocnide integrifolia

Also does not match with comparative images at Boehmeria

I checked species of Debregeasia, likely to be found in Andamans from distribution shown in POWO.

Debregeasia squamata though not shown in distribution as per POWO but likely, also specimens look different as per GBIF and as per
