Saroj ji,
I don't think so.Because in Maharashtra we use this Garcinia indica (Thouars) Choisy daily in cooking.It's vernacular name is 'Kokum' ( कोकम) and it looks quite different.

Thanks Radha ji and Mhadeswara ji.
This is a very common flowering plant available in all nurseries.Even I have 2-3 different colours of Ixora.But had never seen it's fruits.
