Hibiscus ? (26.10.09 NJ)

Dear Friends,
 
Looks like a variety of Hibiscus pl confirm. Leaves thick, flower petals appear as if are coated with wax. Photo taken at Mahabalipuram, last week.

The flower resembles with Sea Hibiscus, or Hibiscus tiliaceus. The photo was also taken near sea shore. Pl confirm.

The flower appears to be Hibiscus tiliaceus , commonly known as sea hibiscus, or coastal hibiscus, beach hibiscus etc.
