I am not sure this is a Strobilanthes but not sure of other options in Kerala, such as Dyschoriste.

This is quite different from Strobilanthes anceps. It is S.aurita J.R.I.Wood. This species was previously confused with S.caudata T.And., but that species is considered a Sri Lankan endemic species now.
