It is quite confusing despite the difference as per Lucid Central and at Allamanda schottii
What is the clear cut difference between Allamanda schottii & Allamanda cathartica?

I think the difference given in another post as below by Singh ji may be more appropriate to differentiate them as per POWO (Allamanda schottii Pohl) and POWO (Allamanda cathartica L.):
"A. cathartica, long cylindrical tube and much shorter swollen upper half is distinctive, in A. schotii cylindrical portion is much shorter than moderately swollen upper portion"
This way only posts at Allamanda schottii Pohl (accepted name) may be correct and others may be of Allamanda cathartica L. only.
