I found this growing commonly in the understory of Satpura forests in sandy soil. Is it still possible that it's Phoenix acaulis?

Are the plants all around without stems? It could also be the seedlings of other Phoenix species. Phoenix acaulis will not have stem and will instead only have a bulbous base when mature.
