I think it is Dipteracanthus prostratus...

The id by Vijay is correct, I think. 

Most of the species of Dipteracanthus are synonyms of Ruellia now.

Thanks Giby, but theplantlist says it is an unresolved name...as far as I know only one sp of Ruellia, i.e. R. tuberosa is naturalized in India. All other wild species come under Dipteracanthus. But, I am not sure of the current name for this taxon, you may be right in saying Ruellia.

Thank you Vijay for pointing out my mistake.

Only Ruellia tuberosa is naturalized in India.

Here I think the leaves are smaller than that of Dipteracanthus prostratus. It is not very clear whether the plant is prostrate or erect from the picture.  

Any chance of Ruellia patula (Syn: Dipteracanthus patulus)?
