Hi, Bala ji,
Pl. show side view of the flower showing calyx and epicalyx.
These are very important in Malvaceae plants. Calyx is important in almost all plants for id.

Leaves are not of the flowering plant. Flower may be of Hibiscus mutabilis L.

Thanks a lot Gurcharan ji and Garg ji. The plant is a herb. Hibiscus mutabilis is also cultivated in Mahe and is a shrub or a small tree.

BUt you mentioned it as an ornamental shrub, in your post. May be double variety of 

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis as per images herein.
