Seen this Bamboo like plant near Hadsar Fort (Junnar Region, Maharashtra). I think this is Dendrocalamus strictus? Kindly validate..

Flowering in Bamboos is once-in-life event, they are monocarpic; die after flowering. I have not seen flowering in any bamboo in my life. Thanks for showing.
