Callistemon species have now been transferred to the genus Melaleuca
by Australian botanists and most information is now related to
Melaleuca. This might help if you are looking at the excellent online
resources for the Australian Flora.

Kind regards,

There is no sp. such as Callistemon villosus ( Y=I ?)  and did not appear in  IPNI, POWO, GBIF and CoL.
However, the sp. looks matching to Melaleuca hislopii Craven & R.D.Edwards syn : Calothamnus villosus R.Br.

Thank you.

Many species from Australia look similar by checking on net.
I think calyx holds the keys, which is not clear here.
Thanks, Saroj ji.
