Madam,

My guess is Launaea nudicaulis of Fl. Br. Ind.

Please check if stats comply with the description Haines recorded in Botany of Bihar & Orissa.

The problem is while Sir Hooker equated the taxon with Roxburgh's Prenanthes procumbens, TPL thinks two are different taxa. We have

Our group records of Launaea procumbens are different looking. Kindly check the KEW herb. Sir Hooker referred -

Launaea nudicaulis (L.) Hook.f. does not have distribution in India as per Catalogue of life (Although POWO gives it) and as per details at Launaea

Many species look similar as at Launaea
